Release notes

In order for all Callpath Server 6.3.1 or 6.3 features to operate correctly, the minimum required Avaya DEFINITY Software Release Level is G3V8x.04.0.046.3 where x represents the switch type. Otherwise, only the previous Corepoint Release 6.2 features are available. See the ASAI Release History section of the DEFINITY ECS Release 8 CallVisor ASAI Technical Reference (or equivalent if older than Release 8) for specific details.

New features available in release 6.3.1:

  1. No functional changes except for service roll-ups.

New features available in previous release 6.3:

  1. For all events, the trunk number and member are filled in for both inbound and outbound ISDN calls. Previously, the trunk information was only filled for analog trunks.
  2. For all events and requests, the program data length has been increased from 32 to 96 bytes.

New features available in previous Corepoint Release 6.2:

  1. The STLADDP request was added to implement the Avaya Single Step Conference request.
  2. The Call_Action_Provided event was added to report the Avaya Universal Call ID data.
  3. The STLSEDD request allows control of the Avaya Tone and Pause durations in milliseconds for DTMF digit tones.
  4. The STLQPS for Query_Party_Type was added to determine the type of any party defined in the switch.
  5. The STLINVK request for Do_Not_Disturb was added to control the Avaya Send All Calls feature.
  6. The STLRED request allows the new_party_data field to be used to control the Avaya Collect Digit Prompt Control feature for digit collecting VDNs.
