Software prerequisites

The JTAPI Class Library requires one of the following Java environments:

• Java Development Kit (JDK) Version 1.1.8
• Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version 1.1.8
• Java 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition, v1.2.2 or v1.3
• Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition v1.2.2 or v.1.3

Notes:

1. For information on Java products or for downloads, visit:

2. All four of the above Java products can also be downloaded from this Website:
   www.ibm.com/java/jdk/download
   

The Class Library supports the following:

• Netscape Communicator 4.0.4 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 with the latest Java level available
• JTAPI Version 1.2
  • Core Package (basic telephony and the base model)
  • Call Control Package (advanced telephony, such as Conference and Transfer)
  • Call Center Package (Call Center Telephony, such as ACD and agent modeling and coordinated voice and data transfer enablement)

Note:

Target system must be able to support long (more than 32 characters) file names.
