About this book

This book describes IBM® CallPath® CallCoordinator®/CICS for OS/390® Version 2.1, an upgrade to IBM CallPath CallCoordinator CICS/MVS® Release 1.

Throughout this book we use the following short names:

This book is about installing and operating CallCoordinator. CallCoordinator is an application that combines telephony and computer services for call centers. It runs on an IBM OS/390 operating system.

This book gives you guidelines for planning the installation, and the procedures for the installation, configuration and verification of your CallCoordinator system. It also gives guidelines for the system administrator for operating and maintaining CallCoordinator.

Before reading this book you may want to see an introduction to the product in the book CallPath CallCoordinator/CICS General Information.


Who Should Read This Book

The first part is written for call center managers, system administrators and anyone who is involved in planning the installation and use of CallCoordinator in their call center.

The rest of the book is for the system administrator who is responsible for installing CallCoordinator and for maintaining the day-to-day operation of the system.
